Warranty & Return Information
This warranty applies to products purchased directly from KGA Auto Parts Inc.
Limited Warranty
KGA-branded parts are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase. Products carrying another manufacturer's brand are covered by that manufacturer's warranty; we will assist you in filing the claim.
Our sole obligation under this warranty is, at our option, replacement of the defective part or credit of the purchase price. This warranty does not cover labor, downtime, towing, rental equipment, freight, or any consequential or incidental damages.
What Is Not Covered
- Normal wear, and parts consumed in service
- Damage from improper installation, incorrect application, or failure to follow torque and fitment specifications
- Damage from accident, abuse, overloading, modification, or continued operation after a fault appears
- Parts that have been disassembled, machined or altered
- Failures caused by a related component that was not replaced at the same time
Returns — RMA Required
Returns are accepted for 30 days from the date of invoice. An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number is required before any return is shipped. Shipments arriving without an RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the carton will be refused.
To request an RMA, email sales@kgatruckparts.com with your invoice number, the part number, the quantity, and the reason for return.
Restocking Fee
Authorized returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Returned parts must be unused, in resalable condition, and in their original undamaged packaging. Return freight is the customer's responsibility except where the return is the result of our error or a warranted defect, in which case we cover it.
Non-Returnable Items
- Special-order and non-stock items
- Electrical components once installed
- Parts installed, painted, machined or otherwise modified
- Items returned after 30 days from invoice date
Warranty Claims
Submit warranty claims to sales@kgatruckparts.com with the invoice number, part number, unit mileage or hours where relevant, a description of the failure, and photographs. We may request the part be returned for inspection before a claim is approved. Credit is issued after inspection.
Core Returns
Where a part carries a core charge, the core must be returned within 30 days, drained, and in rebuildable condition. Cores that are cracked, seized, or missing components may be rejected or credited at a reduced value.
